Playing Doctor

Playing Doctor
by William Van Zandt
& Jane Milmore

This summer’s production, Playing Doctor, tells the story of Rob Brewster, whose parents are very proud of their son, the doctor.

What they don’t know is that instead of going to medical school and setting up a practice, Rob has spent all of the money his parents have given him pursuing his fledging writing career.

Rob’s life of luxury is turned upside down when his parents stop in for a surprise visit. Quickly Rob enlists the help of his actor-room mate and new secretary to keep up the charade of his being a doctor by turning their apartment into a home practice. Hilarity ensues as Rob desperately tries to keep his secret from his loving parents.
